New Graduate Tip #1

When you first finish your degree and graduate from your university or college, it is sometimes inevitable and sometimes essential that you take some time to yourself to have some fun and figure out what it is you want. But it can also be important to consider that every opportunity you take could be a step closer to future employment. Whether you’ve wanted to start a new hobby or travel the world, all these more ‘fun’ experiences are part of character building and add to skills that future employers want to see in graduates, such as taking initiative, trying something new, or challenging yourself. Try to find something worthwhile and rewarding to take part in; it’s the best of both worlds.
