For various reasons, both unforgivable and understandable, we do not always treat each other the way we should. And sometimes when we witness an injustice or offence, we have an urge to seek some sort of revenge. But let’s not let revenge consume us. As much as we might hate it, we’ve sometimes got to be the bigger person. Sometimes we have to kill with kindness. Sometimes we have to avenge with success. Sometimes we have to forgive and forget. Where it might seem best to fight fire with fire, we’ll both still be burned. Instead of smoke, leave an air of kindness. It will linger and rub off on them.
