Number One: Do what you love
Find your passion. It doesn’t matter what it is, as long as it’s yours. You won’t ever give your all if you follow someone else’s dreams and wishes. Have courage to know what will fulfil you and go after it. Share your passion with others, and inspire others to find and share theirs too.
Number Two: Be kind to all you meet
Every person we cross, from stranger to loved one, is left with a mark. Make one that lasts for the right reasons. Even a smile or a thank you can turn someone’s day around. If not, make amends, say sorry to those you’ve wronged. Forgive those who wrong you. Be the bigger person, be the better person.
Number Three: Do what is right
Many times, what is right is not what is easy. But take the road less travelled anyway. Find solutions to problems that have been ignored. Stand up for those who cannot do so for themselves. Stick by your own morals. Practice what you preach. Keep your promises. What goes around comes around. It may not be easy, but it will be worth it.
None of us have it all figured out. And we never will. But that shouldn’t stop us from putting ourselves out there, pursuing our dreams, trying things out, getting into a muddle, finding our feet again, or choosing another path. We don’t have to have it all figured out to move forward. And whatever we do, wherever we go, whoever we meet, it’s going to be all the better because we did it our way.

If you can dream it, you can see it. If you can see it, you can achieve it. Anything is possible when we put our minds to it. The world would be a very different place if people didn’t believe in their dreams and pursue them. There wouldn’t be any invention. There wouldn’t be any solution. People are constantly trying, succeeding, doing what they love. Have the courage and you can do it too.
It’s easy to get wrapped up in problems, in heartache, and in hardship. But they don’t need to define our life, even if they are a daily burden. Dreams and hopes coupled with perseverance are where the future lies, and happiness too. Let those guide you, revive you and empower you, especially in the tougher times. Don’t let the tough times get the best of you.
The world is your oyster. You have to swim around in the darkness before you stumble upon it. You have to believe in your power to break it open. You have to have faith that you’ll find something inside. But the world is yours – there’s so much possibility, opportunity, potential, choice. Do whatever it takes to create a life you want. Don’t let anything hold you back, especially yourself.
Don’t be pushed by your problems. Be led by your dreams. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
Quote of the day.
To be rich is often synonymous with having a great deal of money. But we can create riches beyond money and possessions from within. We can be rich in love, friendship, family. We can be rich in knowledge, ideas, experience. And when we realise that richness often doesn’t come from money or what money can buy, we will also be rich in happiness. It’s all within us already. Don’t miss out.
