Sometimes life can feel like a game of pluses and minuses. If something good happens and then something bad happens, they cancel each other out. But if we climb a bit higher and look out the window, we might see a completely different view: that no matter what has happened or what will happen, no matter what we have or don’t have, there is so much to be thankful for. And if we can teach ourselves to always look at our life through that lens, we’ll realise that life might be a game of pluses and minuses, but the pluses always win.
