Your worth is not your beauty. It’s not the number of inches around your waist. It’s not your intellect. It’s not the number in your bank account. It’s not your mistakes or your past. You’re more than labels and boxes and opinions. You always deserve to give yourself another chance. You always deserve to be loved and to love yourself. You always deserve to choose who you are and where you want to go. Your worth is infinite. Especially when you stay true to yourself. Your worth is on the inside.
Love is a strong feeling of affection. Real love is intense, passionate and unfaltering. For those we love, we go the extra mile, we accept them for who they are, and we lift them up when they are low. Imagine we loved ourselves as much as we loved others. How much more would we give? How much more would we forgive? How much more would we accept? We shouldn’t be the exception to the rule. It’s ok to share some love with ourselves. In fact, it should be mandatory. How can we expect to love someone else or for someone else to love us, before we love ourselves? We deserve the truest, realest forms of love. And it begins with ourselves.
When you look in the mirror, who do you see? Because the only one staring back is you. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter what others think of you, it’s about what you think of yourself. I hope you see beauty illuminated by imperfections. I hope you see a full heart in spite of your mistakes. Because you deserve to see yourself for who you really are. I hope you love yourself for who you are. And if that’s too hard at the moment, then I hope you at least try to love yourself more.
