Hope to never grow up. Never stop learning. Never stop questioning. Never stop believing. Never stop exploring. Never take life too seriously. Never stay trapped in a life you hate. Never say never. But there’s a certain magic that our young selves see in the world that slowly loses its sparkle as we grow up. Never lose that magic. If you do, life loses its magic too.
It always seems impossible until it’s done. We have to have faith that the lightbulb will turn on. Without that, the impossible will remain impossible. Have belief in yourself, confidence in your ideas and courage in your pursuits. It doesn’t matter how crazy people think you are – if you put your mind to it, it can be done. And when the impossible becomes possible, that’s when the magic happens. If Thomas Edison had given up at the first sign of the impossible, we never would have had the lightbulb at all.
The world is full of music for those who learn to listen for it. Laughter and chatter. The breeze against the trees and the raindrops against the rooftop. The first cry of a newborn and the first i-love-you. The world is full of beauty for those who learn to see it. The turn from winter to spring. The bustling of the city. The ocean. The earth. The sunrise. The world is full of magic for those who learn to feel it. The sincere apology, the declaration, the inspiration, the choice, the love. Endless possibilities. The world is full of wonder. Explore and open yourself up to it.
We do not need magic to transform our world. We carry all of the power we need inside ourselves already.

Quote of the day.
There is something so magical about Christmas time. It is so much more than a day for receiving gifts. It is the season for giving, sharing and loving. It is the time of miracles, believing and hope. It is the season for forgiveness, grand gestures and reconciliation. It is the time of generosity, charity and gratitude. Christmas is a celebration of all these things. There is an energy circling around the earth that spreads to all corners. Love and joy are everywhere. Whether we celebrate Christmas as a religious holiday or not, we need to keep this in our hearts, extending the magic to all aspects of our lives and to all year round. Christmas isn’t just a day; it is a frame of mind, a way of life, a powerful tool. Hold onto it and make the most of it.
This has been one of my favourite Christmas songs this year, that I think really captures this spirit. ‘December Prayer’ by Idina Menzel:
