Don’t be discouraged when things don’t work out. Don’t be discouraged when you get knocked off course. Don’t be discouraged when you don’t see instant results. Just keep going. Remember why you started. Remind yourself where you’re going. It’s still possible. Where there’s a will, there’s a way.

In life, we’ll face setbacks, obstacles and injustice. But don’t give up on life. Never stop fighting for what you believe in, for what is right, and never stop believing it can come true. What doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger. And love will win against hate.
Whilst a new year is a wonderful way to mark a new beginning, it can be easy to forget that our future starts in every present moment. As we move forward with our dreams and goals, we should hold onto that. If you find yourself driven off course, turn the steering wheel and push the accelerator. If you find yourself falling backwards, pick yourself up. Our obstacles and mistakes shouldn’t mean we give up. In the end, we’re only on one journey: our life. Don’t waste time waiting for the next best time to start again, and don’t waste time doubting yourself. Because time isn’t stopping. Keep going. Our future is in our own hands right now. Don’t waste the time you have left.
Sometimes we’re knocked down by failure. But that doesn’t mean failure holds us down. Sometimes we’re hit by failure. But that doesn’t mean failure stops us from moving forward. Sometimes we’re marked by failure. But that doesn’t mean failure defines us. It’s all in our attitude and perspective. If we let failure get the best of us, it will. When we get knocked down, let’s get back up again. There’s nobody to tell us we can’t except ourselves.
When we face a difficulty, we sigh in despair or cry out in frustration. We’re blinded by the work, the time and the poor odds. But out of every difficulty, a seed sprouts. We can choose to be a fighter or a quitter. We can choose to be versatile or stale. We can choose to find the beauty or the hindrance. It’s hard at the time to be an optimist. But in every difficulty, we’ll find the greatest glory once we realise we conquered it.
