It always seems impossible until it’s done. We have to have faith that the lightbulb will turn on. Without that, the impossible will remain impossible. Have belief in yourself, confidence in your ideas and courage in your pursuits. It doesn’t matter how crazy people think you are – if you put your mind to it, it can be done. And when the impossible becomes possible, that’s when the magic happens. If Thomas Edison had given up at the first sign of the impossible, we never would have had the lightbulb at all.
Many of us lack confidence in our own ideas. We’re afraid to raise our hand or put anything on the table, because we’re scared of looking stupid. But the truth is, our world is just a puzzle of ideas. Our systems, functions, processes are all ideas. And the only way they become our reality is when people are brave enough to share them. Sure, some ideas need refining and tuning. But an idea is an idea. They’re all cloaked in impossibility and impracticality. Strip away those fears. If others can do it, so can you. The value of an idea lies in the using of it.
