Don’t forget where you came from, where you’ve been, and what you have. Our roots don’t define who we are, but even the darkest paths have the brightest endings. And we have lots to celebrate, lots to be grateful for, and lots to embrace that’s worth remembering. Where we go will be even sweeter if we remember where we’ve been and appreciate where we are. Never let the things you want make you forget the things you have.
Strong foundations are essential to any long-lasting, high-rising and valuable building. It’s the same with life’s pursuits and successes. Sometimes a foundation comes from within: a dream, a faith, or an idea. Sometimes we look elsewhere, in our families, in our mentors, or in our surroundings. Perhaps our optimal foundation requires a combination of both.
We need to build something that will stand firmly on the ground and rocket to the skies, and it all comes down to those foundations, those roots. We don’t need to be a perfectionist to be wise and we don’t need to be rash to be a starter. Find that passion and begin brainstorming, planting, building. Everything must start somewhere. It may require hard work for little compensation, but when it’s done correctly, it will unfold to only grow and only prosper. You’ve got to have roots before you can have branches.
